Our Mission

We strive to offer musicians the finest possible experience in rehearsals, repairs, rentals, & music lessons.

Established in 2011

Rock and Roll San Diego opened in 2011 by Mark Langford, a lifelong musician and San Diego resident since 1980. Mark wanted to build a place for musicians to play loud every day of the week, a place where they could feel at home, and a place where they could be apart of a community.

Rehearsals

Since opening, we have hosted bands of all sizes, from our favorite local bands to Steven Tyler, The Beach Boys, Tribal Seeds, Carnifex, Ace Frehley, POD, The B-52s, The Frights, King Diamond, The Devil Wears Prada, Pierce the Veil, A Day to Remember, Cattle Decapitation and many more!

Music Lessons

Rock and Roll San Diego offers music lessons to those who are just starting out or want to improve their skill set. Our instructors teach one on one lessons for guitar, bass, vocals, piano, and drums. We also have a group class available for kids on Saturday mornings.

Repairs

We’ve all been there… your amp is buzzing or your guitar … and you have a gig this weekend. Broken gear is frustrating, especially when it gets in the way of your creativity or making money.

We have a repair tech on staff to help get your back on stage as soon as possible. Willie Shadoan has been our repair tech since day one and is available every weekend for repairs. Give us a call if you have questions about your gear being repaired.

Rentals

Whether you need a full backline for an event or you simply need an amp or another piece of gear, Rock and Roll San Diego is here to help. We have a full array of PA systems, amps, drum kits, instruments, lighting equipment and more.

Special Events

From becoming your own venue for album release parties, to receptions with a kitchen available for catering, Hendrix Hall is the way to go!

At 1,600 sq. ft, Hendrix Hall can hold 65 people and can be arranged many ways to fit your needs.
